Panic! At the Disco

What's up? Back with one of the bands that I heard at the Nintendo Fusion Tour, Panic! At the Disco. I thought that they were pretty good when I saw them there, but ever since the concert I can't stop listening to their CD, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. Their music is much, much different than the normal music that I listen to. Their musical style would best be described as dance punk emo... yea, that's a lot of genres packed into one band, but once you listen to them you'll see what it is that I'm talking about. They have a slightly European sound to them also.
Either way, their songs have a ton of energy and definitely put you in a good mood once you start listening to them.

I tried to get some information on the band from the internet, but they are so new that they didn't even have a bio on their website which I thought was crazy. I did find out that they are from the suburbs of Las Vegas, although when I first saw them I would have sworn they were from England. They recorded their first album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, in College Park, MD. They are now a very popular band on the indie music scene and have a large underground following. They are definitely more popular with a younger crowd, but I still think they are really good. Definitely download some songs by them and give them a chance. See ya next week.

Songs:

- Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off
- The Only Difference Between Martyrdom And Suicide Is Press Coverage
- London Beckoned Songs About Money Written By Machines
- Time to Dance

^^^^ (I know the names are pretty long, huh?)

I checked them out! I don’t know how I feel about them yet….. but I couldn’t stop listening to it. So I guess I like it, but there are a lot of genres mixed into one. However, I think that maybe that could be a good thing. It’s weird because it definitely has that dance pop thing going on, but I don’t know if you can actually dance to it! They seem really young, and it is crazy that they recorded in Maryland. Anyway, I think these guys are starting something new, and that a lot of people are gonna take to it

I never heard of Panic at the Disco before but I listened to some of their songs on iTunes and they seem like a really good band. I also tried to find some stuff out about these guys on the Internet and I couldn't come up with anything. I'm sure that since they're becoming a popular band in the Indie music scene, they will eventually have a website. I like how their songs are really upbeat and make you want to dance. They definitely have a similar sound to Fall Out Boy and I guess that's why they are on the same tour with them. I also noticed that these guys look really young. Anyway keep the good bands coming.

They seem cool its a pretty unique sound. I had neevr heard of them before and probably won't hear alot about them for a while just because they are so new and relatively young. I could see their sound becoming real popular. As you said it does put you in a good mood. Also people always enjoy bands that play with alot of energy , just look at Fall Out Boys recent success. I wonder what their touring is like? Just small bars like the Balloon or actual venues?

I have never heard of them before and after listening to them I found myself thinking, "hmm is this a new band or another confused punk band?" I personally found this band to be nothing more then another punk band jumping on a slightly growing trend of crappy punk or emo or whatever it is bands. They have whinny voices and their beats all sound exactly the same. There is virtually no way to differentiate one band from the next. The band members even all look alike. What jokes. I will say that every now and then one of these bands comes out with a cool, catchy song, but for the most part they should all just get together and produce a cd called a collection of one hit wonders that you'll never want to hear again.
